Alabama’s Jenna Johnson, a graduate student outfielder from Franklin, Tenn., batted .615 with team highs of eight hits and nine runs scored along with six RBI. Johnson reached base safely and scored at least one run in all five games in which she made a plate appearance. She recorded a career-high four hits vs. North Alabama on Saturday and a career-best three runs scored in the weekend finale at UAB.

Newland tallied eight RBIs, two home runs, a .556 batting average, a 1.000 slugging percentage, a .556 on-base percentage and logged five putouts on five chances. She registered a season-high three hits against Houston Friday, including her second home run of the season.
