BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 6, 2023)—–The track and field programs of the Southeastern Conference will compete this week in the NCAA Outdoor Championships to be held at Mike A. Myers Stadium Wednesday through Saturday.
The men’s competition will be held Wednesday through Friday, while the women’s competition will take place Thursday through Saturday. The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will air each night on ESPN2.
The SEC leads all conferences in number of entries with 122 in the women’s competition and 113 entries in the men’s competition. Arkansas leads all men’s programs with 18 entries to the meet, while LSU is tied for second with 13. The Florida women’s team has the second-most entries with 18, while Arkansas and Georgia are tied for third with 15.
SEC programs have won each of the last two men’s outdoor titles with Florida claiming the championship in 2022 and LSU in 2021. The Gators also won the women’s crown last year in Eugene, Ore.
