Each year, SELF’s Activewear Awards highlight the best new workout apparel. (And, let’s be honest, the best stuff to wear for running errands, getting shit done…or for sitting on the couch and doing nothing.) Our editors spend all year keeping an eye on the market, trying out new releases, and separating the excellent from the just plain meh. But the more we talked about it, the more we realized that we want to know what YOU, our readers, love to wear too.
So we decided to spice things up a bit this year: In addition to the Activewear Awards you know and love, we’ll be launching a Reader’s Choice Award for the very first time. Yay! Here’s what that means:
We created a form where you can nominate your favorite sports bras and leggings. Keep in mind we’re looking for the GOATs (greatest of all time), like the sports bra that helped support you through your first 5K or the leggings so good you had to buy them in every color. We’re also always looking for items that help anyone with a specific need or goal: Do you think you found the best nursing sports bra? Did you find a brand with extended sizing that also has cute, high-quality styles? Or maybe you finally scored the perfect leggings for short folks? You get the gist!
So, what’s next?
- Fill out the nomination form here by December 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (Remember, you can nominate up to three items total.)
- Stay tuned—we’ll be announcing the winners alongside the rest of our Activewear Awards this February.
